As colorful as it is, it is a sign of what's to come. This Big ol' shelf cloud just mozzied on over the house a little while ago. The Northeast is about to get drenched big-time. We have been getting larger amounts of rain over the past couple of days, but had not seen any clouds like this one here. This was on Friday, and we now have a couple good sized systems out in the Atlantic we are keeping eyes on for the next few days as well.
Typical weather here in Florida this time of year with the hurricane season starting to ramp up things for the next month or two.
Just surprised to see this thing hanging so low and large over the house..lol.
