GATOR still not running..

 

Had the mechanic back again today to try and diagnose the issue... best guess without following the schematics is that the ECM is not sending the message to the alternator to crank out the juice to charge the battery. Will take a jump, and start, but as soon you disconnect the cable, it struggles and dies out almost immediately. So the alt. is not cherging the battery and the ECM is not telling the Alt. what to do....grrrr.

New ECM for this thing is like $500 + programming.. However I did find a used one online for around the $136.00 range still awaiting a reply as to if it comes programmed or not before committing to purchase.

Before we go that route, though we are going to check the schematics and trace any wiring to and from the ECM and Alt.
